Our Owner
Jamie Nielsen has spent the past 20 years turning big ideas into thriving businesses, leading as the proud owner of American Benefits Company, iDrive Insurance Agency, and Alpine Insurance Agency. Starting her career in the insurance industry, Jamie combined deep industry expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit to create one of the most trusted PEO platforms in the region. Her leadership is defined by a calm, steady presence, thoughtful decision-making, and a determination to build a company where clients, employees, and partners all feel supported.
Jamie leads with heart — always recognizing that the real success of American Benefits Company comes from the team that surrounds her. She fosters a culture of collaboration, loyalty, and high standards, ensuring that every member of the organization has the tools and trust to succeed.
Outside of work, Jamie’s happiest spending time with her husband and family at their farm, relaxing at her cabin, enjoying live concerts, discovering great food, and — most of all — soaking in the beauty of Lake Powell. Whether at work or at home, Jamie’s focus remains the same: create meaningful experiences, build strong relationships, and leave things better than she found them.

VP of Payroll
Ashley is a seasoned Payroll Manager with 18 years of experience in the payroll industry, known for delivering accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations. She graduated from the University of Utah in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, which provided a strong foundation in financial systems and analytical thinking. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed payroll for organizations of varying sizes, ensuring timely payments, regulatory compliance, and seamless implementation of payroll systems. Outside the office Ashley enjoys spending time with her daughter and her two dogs.

Saige Porray
Payroll Account Manager
Saige has been processing payrolls for the past 3 years, making sure every detail is double-checked (sometimes triple-checked!) and every deadline is met. She’s known for being a true team player, always stepping in to help her coworkers — and providing plenty of comic relief along the way. While her habit of overthinking keeps her teammates on their toes, it’s all part of her relentless drive to make sure the job gets done right. Outside of work, Saige loves hunting, seeks out the spiciest foods she can find, and never misses a chance to make people laugh.

Bailey Simkins
Payroll Account Manager
Bailey believes payday should always be smooth and stress-free — and she works hard behind the scenes to make sure of it. With a sharp eye for detail and a calm, steady approach to problem-solving, she leads by example, keeping payroll on track and making sure every number lines up just right. Though she’s a "fly under the radar" type of leader, her teammates know she’s a big part of what keeps everything running smoothly. When she’s not making payroll happen, you’ll find her soaking up the sun at Lake Powell, enjoying a country concert, or cheering from the stands at a baseball game.

Over the years, she has worked in both full-time and part-time capacities, always striving to grow her knowledge and skills across all aspects of payroll account management. Brianna takes pride in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while providing dependable support to both clients and employees. With a strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to excellent service, she works hard to make the payroll experience smooth and stress-free. Outside of work, Brianna is a proud parent of three amazing kids and loves spending time outdoors with her husband.

Jordyn Hanson

Jordyn is all about the details — and her calm, positive energy helps keep payroll running smoothly, even when the pressure is on. Always smiling and ready to make her coworkers laugh, Jordyn brings a quiet wit and steady focus to every deadline. You might have to listen closely to catch her one-liners, but they’re worth it. Outside of work, Jordyn loves going to concerts, traveling, spending time with family, and hanging out with her golden retriever, Hank.

Heather has a strong motive and desire to help others feel and be successful. A great listener and proactive problem solver, she strives each day to provide quality customer service to those she works directly with, always aiming to go above and beyond. In her free time, Heather loves being outdoors — hiking, camping, lazily swinging in a hammock, or chasing her grandbabies around the playground. Her family is truly her life!

Alyssa Bird
Payroll Account Manager
Alyssa is a dedicated payroll processor who takes pride in accuracy, attention to detail, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Outside the office, Alyssa loves camping under the stars, enjoying warm summer nights around a fire, and staying active with golf and pickleball (always ready for a little friendly competition). Her creative side shines in the kitchen, where she’s known for baking up sweet treats to share.

With a passion for accuracy and a heart for people, Adriane leads the payroll process with empathy and precision. She believes building relationships is just as important as getting the numbers right, and she’s known for her positive attitude, attention to detail, and natural leadership. Jess Sipherd
VP of Operations & Benefits
Though she’d never call herself it first, Jess is proudly the VP of Operations & Benefits of American Benefits Company. She’s the operational heartbeat of ABC, overseeing day-to-day functions across all departments, with a strong focus on Employee Benefits and Human Resources. Jess has been a vital part of the American Benefits team for the past five years, known for bringing order to chaos, building systems, streamlining processes, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Whether she’s leading a benefits implementation, solving an HR issue, or jumping in wherever she’s needed, Jess gets it done with a mix of structure, empathy, and a steady problem-solving mindset. Outside of work, Jess is a proud mom, often found cheering from the sidelines or coaching softball. She’s a lover of early mornings, quiet moments, and laughing with her closest circle of people.

Grace McCormack
Benefits Operation Manager
Grace is a strategic partner to business owners navigating the complexities of payroll, benefits, and PEO solutions. With a strong background in benefits administration and a sharp eye for process improvement, Grace builds scalable systems that support both clients and internal teams.
She is known for creating clear, effective training programs—especially for new Benefit Managers—and fostering collaboration across departments to ensure seamless service delivery. When not streamlining workflows or building onboarding schedules, you’ll find her planning her next project or enjoying time with family.

Benefits Account Manager & Medicare Specialist
Jill is an Account Manager in our Benefits Department, known for her attention to detail and dedication to her clients. Licensed in both Medicare and individual health insurance, Jill brings expertise and compassion to every client interaction, ensuring they feel supported and well-cared for.
She is passionate about helping individuals find the right coverage to meet their needs and prides herself on delivering exceptional service. With a sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to risk management, Brynlie takes pride in delivering customized insurance solutions that fit each client’s unique needs. Her commitment goes beyond policies — she’s here to build lasting partnerships and make sure your business is ready for whatever comes next. Outside of work, you can find Bryn exploring new cuisine at local food joints with friends, spending time with her two dogs, George and Franklin, and reading 4–5 books at one time.

Insurance Account Manager
Victoria helps businesses navigate the world of property and casualty insurance. Responsible for growing and maintaining relationships with business clients, driving revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction. She manages accounts, identifies new opportunities, negotiates contracts, and works to retain and expand business. She’s knowledgeable, approachable, responsive, and always ready to help our clients and colleagues. Receptionist
Gracie is the friendly face and voice of American Benefits, serving as our Office Receptionist. She plays a crucial role in answering client calls, making sure every client feels heard, supported, and well taken care of. Gracie goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience for everyone she interacts with. In addition to client support, she keeps the office running smoothly by managing supplies, overseeing outgoing mail, and ensuring payroll deliveries are sent on time. Outside of work, Gracie loves a good shopping spree and soaking up the sun whenever she can.

Kami Frame
Project Manager
Kami is a Project Manager who plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. From handling new hire reporting to supporting our accounting and tax departments, managing 2Ls, processing retirement deductions, and tackling a variety of important tasks, Kami brings precision and reliability to everything she does. She takes pride in her work and is known for her attention to detail and can-do attitude. Outside of work, Kami loves spending time with her family and hiking whenever she gets the chance. She’s also one of the wittiest people you’ll ever meet, always bringing humor and energy to every conversation.

Abbie Sermersheim
Project Managert
Abbie has been a key part of the American Benefits team for over five years, spending her time in the Payroll Department. Known for her sharp attention to detail and calm under pressure, Abbie is always ready to jump in and help get payrolls out during crunch time. Though she now works part-time, she enjoys staying involved and supporting the payroll team whenever needed, while also assisting with miscellaneous projects around the office. Outside of work, Abbie loves spending time with her family, traveling when she can, enjoying a good Diet Coke, and spending her days off with her son, Crew.

Ali Stewart
Office Operations Coordinator
Ali is a crucial part of the American Benefits team, known for her positivity, reliability, and team-first attitude. She handles all client payroll deliveries, coordinates office events, and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Ali’s kindness and willingness to step in wherever needed helps make ABC what it is today. Outside of work, you’ll often find Ali continuing to help others in her community or spending quality time with her family — most likely cheering from the ballpark. Morgan has eight years of experience in the financial services industries, with three years of specialization in payroll tax. She is passionate about making business owners’ lives easier by providing expertise in tax details many may not be aware of. Morgan is also a new member of our bookkeeping team and has loved working closely with clients to clean up their financials and give them a clear picture of their business that they can be confident in. Morgan is known for her ability to dig into problem solving and get any job done quickly and efficiently. When she is not at work, Morgan enjoys dancing with a local professional company, trying out local restaurants, and spending time at the park with her husband, their daughter, and their dog.

Brigitte Christensen
Client Bookkeeping Specialist
Brigitte has more than 30 years of bookkeeping experience, working with businesses ranging from small startups to multimillion-dollar companies. She’s known for her attention to detail, efficiency, and clear communication, always focused on delivering accurate results. As a QuickBooks Level 2 Certified ProAdvisor, Brigitte understands how financial operations work together. She loves her small-town roots but has also developed a passion for traveling.
